In Loving Memory to SA Champion Cathay Jiang Qing at Arowana

Born 11 August 1999 - Died 5 March 2005

Qing was the second Shar Pei we bought and she has always been our special lady. We were so very proud of her when she became Champion. She was the alpha-lady in the house and only Mao was allowed to do as he pleases. We were intensely happy when she gave birth to 6 healthy kids of which we kept Tehl and Zorro. We tragically had to say goodbye to her on the 5th of March 2005 knowing she could not win the battle against Streptococcal Toxic Shock Syndrome (STSS), which had been going on for 40 hours, and she died in our arms at 22:00 hours. 

The last picture we have of her was taken only days before she past away.

Qing acquired Championship status on 27 June 2003.
